About Alyssa

Alyssa Dordoni is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Rutgers University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Alyssa offers both in-person sessions office and virtual appointments, providing flexible support for her clients.

Alyssa is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. She takes an empathetic and client-centered approach, helping individuals navigate difficult life transitions, manage self-defeating thoughts, and build confidence.

She works with teens, young adults, and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach to care is rooted in a supportive client-centered approach using evidence-based modalities. Alyssa provides a warm supportive environment to help her explore their emotions to garner greater insights while building practical coping skills to achieve personal growth.

Alyssa is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is supervised by a licensed professional in accordance with New Jersey law.
