About Alexandra Strauss
Alexandra is the organizational backbone of Light Street Psychotherapy. As Administrative
Assistant, she manages the moving pieces that keep the practice running smoothly — billing,
scheduling, and day-to-day office operations — so that our clinicians can devote their full
attention to the people they serve. Clients may not always see her work directly, but they benefit
from it every time an appointment runs on time or a question gets answered quickly.
Why She's Here
Alexandra has always been drawn to understanding people — what shapes them, what
challenges them, and what helps them heal. That curiosity is what led her toward a career in
mental health in the first place. Working at Light Street has only sharpened that interest, giving
her a front-row seat to the clinical process and deepening her respect for the work therapists do
every day.
Her path doesn't stop here. Alexandra plans to pursue a master's degree after graduation, with
the goal of becoming a licensed mental health professional herself — bringing the same care
she puts into her current role to future clients of her own.
Outside of Work
Alexandra stays just as active outside the office. She can usually be found on the tennis court,
moving through a Pilates class, or spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Bodhi — her
favorite kind of therapy after a long day.
